Update from your local beat team

November update from you local policing team

Watch out for nails on road

Numerous nails and screws have been found on roads near to Marsh Lane, Easton-in-Gordano and other surrounding areas. Motorists and the general public are being asked to take care when using these roads and notify the police if you come across large quantities of screws and nails which could cause harm.

Bike owners encouraged to stay vigilant

The local beat team is asking residents to remain vigilant following a recent spate of push bike thefts in and around Portishead. The beat team will be on hand at their next CCV Beat Surgery (see details below) to help local people with security marking their bikes and to give advice on keeping your bike safe.

 CCV Beat Surgery

The local beat team will be holding their next surgery from Waitrose car park in Portishead on Saturday, November 10, 4-5pm. Come and meet your local policing team to discuss any issues or queries you may have, and to bring them up to date with happenings in your community.
